New Jersey Republicans stirred from their slumber this week to skewer Democrats over their habit of grabbing huge sums of money for pet projects hours before passing a budget, all behind closed doors. They went with satire, posting a YouTube video that skewers Gov. Phil Murphy and his pals for showering a t least $700 million on pet projects, including a cheerleading program in Hoboken, a dog park in Rahway, a zoo in Essex County, and an art museum in Jersey City – all of it set to the tune of 'My Favorite Things' from The Sound of Music.
