HOBOKEN, NJ — As rain continued to fall Friday morning, the National Weather Service issued a coastal flood statement for noon Friday until 3 p.m. for Hudson County, eastern Essex, and eastern Union County in New Jersey.When there's flooding in the area, it's often at high tide. High tide in Hudson County during the storm is expected at 1:55 p.m. Friday. Even at low tide on Friday morning, large puddles were forming and corners were flooding in low-lying areas of Hoboken, such as near Tenth and Madison streets.
