In times where seemingly everything has gotten more expensive, Citi Bike couldn't escape the grip of inflation. The bike-sharing service, popular in both Hoboken and Jersey City, has increased its fees, citing inflation, supply chains disruptions and shipping costs. The new service fees went to effect last week. 'The rise in fees is undoubtedly troubling and we've expressed our concerns directly to our partners at Citi Bike' said Hoboken Councilman Michael DeFusco. 'I will continue to work on behalf of users to seek cost-saving measures.
