The topside of the substation and the foundation for the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm left the Hoboken and Vlissingen yards this week for the wind farm off the coast of Brittany. Soon, the jacket and topside will be installed offshore by the Saipem 7000 vessel. The Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm, located 16,3 km off the French coast, is the first large scale offshore wind farm in Brittany and one of the first in France to obtain all the necessary government permits for its construction and operation.
